Health Officials Inspect Clinics on Wheels
GUJRAT, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 7th Sep, 2026) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) District Health Authority Gujrat, Dr. Syed Aitizaz Ahmed, along with Deputy District Health Officers, inspected various Chief Minister Clinics on Wheels on Monday to review healthcare services provided to citizens.
According to an official source, Dr. Aitizaz Ahmed visited a mobile health team in Mohalla Kalupura, Gujrat, while Deputy District Health Officer Gujrat, Dr. Muhammad Usman Naeem, reviewed performance in Union Council No. 12, Islampura. Deputy District Health Officer Sara-i-Alamgir, Dr. Waheed Kamran, inspected a team in urban Sara-i-Alamgir.
The mobile clinics are conducting daily camps in urban slums and low-income settlements under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, aiming to provide basic healthcare facilities directly to residents’ doorsteps.
Services offered by the mobile units include:
- General health screening
- Maternal and child healthcare
- Family planning
- Routine immunization of children
The health teams have also provided prompt medical assistance during emergencies, particularly in areas affected by recent urban flooding.
