Muslim League Functional (PML-F)
Sukkur
Division was held under the chairmanship of Provincial Leader and Monitoring Organizer of Sukkur Division, Advocate Syed Shafqat Ali Shah. The meeting was held at the PML-F office in Golimar, Sukkur.
The meeting was also addressed by Comrade Nisar Abro and Engineer Abdul Karim Shar.
Key Participants:
A large number of district and taluka presidents, general secretaries, and office-bearers from all three districts of Sukkur Division – Sukkur, Khairpur, and Ghotki – participated.
Addressing the meeting, Advocate Syed Shafqat Ali Shah stated:
"Pakistan Muslim League Functional is the party of Shaheed Pir Pagara and the true representative of the poor, oppressed, and subjugated people of Sindh. Under the leadership of Pir Sahib Pagara and Provincial President Syed Sadruddin Shah Rashdi, the Functional League is rapidly organizing across Sindh, and Sukkur Division holds a special position in this regard."
He further emphasized the party’s potential to alleviate the people’s concerns in the current national situation, marked by inflation, lawlessness, and unemployment, while highlighting the ruling party’s failures.
Meeting Outcomes:
The meeting delved into organizational matters, unit organization, and strategies to enhance party activity. A unanimous decision was made to:
- Complete the organization-building process in all districts and talukas of Sukkur Division promptly.
- Submit written lists of organizational office-bearers to the provincial leadership by September 15.
- District office-bearers are tasked with accelerating their organizational visits and activating the party down to the Union Council level.
- Intensify the membership campaign in every taluka and recruit new members.
- Host workers’ conventions in all districts of Sukkur Division, with central leadership participation.
- Organize a large public gathering (Jalsa-e-Aam) across Sindh in the near future.
Prayer was offered for national security, party success, and the longevity of Pir Pagara.
The meeting was also addressed by Comrade Nisar Abro, Engineer Abdul Karim Shar, Faqir Inayat Buriro, and others.
