Frederic Vasseur, Ferrari team principal, has stated that Christian Horner is causing a distraction within the team. Vasseur accuses Horner of "looking for a job" and his recent remarks about Ferrari have been a source of disruption.
Vasseur expressed his frustration during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, where Charles Leclerc finished fourth and Lewis Hamilton placed sixth.
"We are not working in the perfect serenity. For me, first, but for everybody in the team, for the media, for 50% of the questions [to be] about this, it's a bit of a frustrating situation."
Vasseur continued to highlight the impact of Horner's comments, even referencing the former Red Bull team principal's job search and the internal investigations surrounding accusations of sexual harassment and coercive behaviour.
After the race, Lewis Hamilton confirmed Ferrari's progress under Vasseur's leadership, while Vasseur joked about Horner's job search, stating, "This you have to ask my assistant."
Ferrari entered the season with high hopes, but technical challenges have hindered their performance, particularly on straight tracks like those in Baku.
