Hot and Humid Weather to Persist Across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 27, 2026) Hot and humid weather is expected to persist across most plain areas of the country on Friday, while northern regions are likely to remain partly cloudy, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather Forecast by Region:

  • Islamabad and Adjoining Areas: Hot and humid conditions.
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Primarily hot and humid weather in most districts, with partly cloudy afternoon conditions in upper districts like Swat, Kohistan, Battagram, and Chitral.
  • Punjab: Expected to remain hot and humid across most parts.
  • Sindh: Similar weather as Punjab, but coastal areas may be partly cloudy.
  • Balochistan: Humid weather in most districts, with partly cloudy conditions along the coast.
  • Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan: Dry and partly cloudy weather is anticipated.
