Hot and Humid Weather Expected Across Most Plain Areas on Wednesday

ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 8th Sep, 2026) Hot and humid weather is predicted to persist across most plain regions of the country tomorrow, while partly cloudy conditions are anticipated in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather Forecasts by Region:

  • Islamabad and Surrounding Areas: Dry conditions with hot daytime temperatures.
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Primarily dry weather, but plain areas will remain hot during the day, with partly cloudy afternoon conditions possible in upper districts.
  • Punjab: Hot and humid weather expected across most districts, while partly cloudy conditions may occur in Murree, Galliyat, and nearby locations.
  • Sindh: Predominantly hot and humid conditions in most districts, with partly cloudy weather and a chance of drizzle in Karachi and other coastal areas.
  • Balochistan: Hot and humid weather across most districts, with partly cloudy conditions anticipated in coastal regions.
  • Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir: Partly cloudy weather expected.

During the Past 24 Hours:
Hot and humid conditions prevailed in most plain areas, while rain and thunderstorms were recorded at scattered locations in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan. Kalam experienced two millimeters of rain, and Gupis received one millimeter. Nokkundi held the highest maximum temperature at 43°C, followed by Sibbi and Bhakkar at 42°C. Dadu, Turbat, Dalbandin, and Noor Pur Thal all recorded 41°C.
