Hundreds of Jewish Extremists Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem

This morning, 480 Jewish extremists entered the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Mosque under the security of police and security forces and performed religious rituals, according to an Arab broadcaster.
JERUSALEM, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 13th Sep, 2026) This morning, 480 Jewish extremists entered the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem mayor’s office reported that these extremists also performed Talmudic rituals there. Police and Israeli security forces provided full protection to the extremist Jewish settlers entering Al-Aqsa Mosque. They entered the courtyard in groups through the Moroccan Gate.
The settlers reportedly performed Talmudic religious rituals and toured the Al-Aqsa compound.
Palestinian officials described the actions as a violation of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the historical administrative status quo there. Meanwhile, Israeli forces imposed restrictions on Palestinian worshippers entering Al-Aqsa Mosque and checked their identities. Reports emerged that some people were stopped or detained at the mosque’s outer gates.
According to Al Jazeera, Palestinian officials stated that over 2,000 settlers had entered Al-Aqsa Mosque during the preceding week. The entry of settlers into Al-Aqsa Mosque has long been a source of tension.
