The government should also guarantee that no shots will be fired, says the PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa president, who faces 35 terrorism FIRs and claims arrest warrants are routine for him.

President Junaid Akbar stated:

"I guarantee the government that none of us will be carrying weapons on September 27. I have 35 FIRs related to terrorism against me—who could be a bigger terrorist than me?"

Akbar was speaking on Sama news, criticising Rana Sanaullah’s statement about armed groups. He questioned the validity of reports linking Sanaullah to drug mafias and heroin.

"I want to ask whether these are the same reports that claimed Rana Sanaullah was associated with a drug mafia, had a very large network, and that heroin was planted in his vehicle? Similar reports previously emerged against Rana Sanaullah, and similar ones are appearing today."

Junaid Akbar highlighted his recent election victory, receiving 114,000 votes for the third time. He argued that no leader greater than Imran Khan has emerged while hundreds of terrorism FIRs have been registered against him.

"There is not a single elected person in Parliament against whom a terrorism FIR has not been registered. The issuance of arrest warrants is routine; we are all terrorists, and terrorism cases have been registered against our workers."

Akbar also addressed the injustice they faced on May 9, adding that the government should investigate the breaking of glass panes during Imran Khan’s court appearance in May.
