‘I have chronic cancer but I’m not going to die’ – BBC presenter Maryam Moshiri
BBC News presenter Maryam Moshiri has shared her personal journey with cancer, detailing her diagnosis and ongoing management of polycythaemia vera (PV), a rare blood cancer. She was diagnosed in November 2024, and while it cannot be cured, effective treatment is available.
