The chief minister said the alleged oppression of PTI workers by the government imposed on Punjab and its handlers was such that every Muslim would feel ashamed, adding that he would visit the home of martyred worker Ishtiaq in Lahore tomorrow.

Tehreek-e-Insaf worker Ishtiaq Ahmad and criticised the state machinery. In a statement posted on
social media
platform X,
Sohail Afridi
said the atrocities allegedly committed by the
government
imposed in
Punjab
and its handlers had crossed
all
limits. He alleged that during illegal raids on workers preparing for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (peace be upon him), party worker Ishtiaq Ahmad was allegedly pushed into a wok of hot
oil
, resulting in fatal injuries.
Sohail Afridi announced that he would visit the home of martyred Ishtiaq in
Lahore
tomorrow to offer condolences and
share
the bereaved
family
’s grief. He added that the formal and decisive roadmap for the
Punjab
Street Movement would also be announced in
Lahore
, presenting a major test for the
government
’s nerves ahead of the
September
27
protest
.
It

be recalled that active
Pakistan
Tehreek-e-Insaf worker Ishtiaq Khan, who suffered severe burns after allegedly falling into a wok of boiling
oil
during a reported
police
raid on 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal, during Eid Milad-un-Nabi (peace be upon him),
died
after remaining in a critical condition at Mayo Hospital for 18 days.
In a statement posted on
social media

PTI
leader Zubair Khan Niazi said Ishtiaq Khan had suffered serious injuries in the tragic incident on 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal and had been shifted to Mayo Hospital for treatment. He said that despite the doctors’ prolonged efforts, Ishtiaq could not survive and succumbed to his injuries.
