"I would call and say, My Supreme Leader, how are you, sir? What can we do for you?” the US president said in a surprising statement.

WASHINGTON, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11th Sep, 2026) US President Donald Trump has made a surprising statement regarding Iran possessing nuclear weapons. He said that if Iran had nuclear weapons, he would call Iran’s Supreme Leader instead of bombing Iran.

According to foreign media, Trump said in his recent statement that he would call the Iranian Supreme Leader and say, "My Supreme Leader, how are you, sir? What can we do for you?"

He emphasized that it was a very simple matter that the United States could not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons under any circumstances. He added that Iran was no longer the bully of the Middle East.

Trump predicted that the war with Iran would end after the midterm elections and that oil prices would also decline.

Furthermore, US President Donald Trump rejected concerns that artificial intelligence could lead to the extinction of humanity and stressed that the United States must win the artificial intelligence race. According to a foreign news agency, he told the media that his top priority in the AI race was maintaining US superiority over China.

Trump expressed his concern that if the United States did not remain at the forefront of the artificial intelligence field, it could face a very difficult situation. Before departing from Dallas Airport, journalists asked Trump whether he feared that artificial intelligence could cause the extinction of humans. Responding to the question, Trump said he had no such fear.

The US president stated his concern was that if the United States did not succeed in the AI field, it would be in an extremely bad position. He noted that the US was currently well ahead of China—approximately one year ahead, he added—and that a one-year lead in the AI field was considered very significant.

It’s worth noting that according to a report, AI experts have warned that the uncontrolled use of artificial intelligence could pose serious risks to humanity.
