IGP KP Offers Fateha, Condoles With Family Of Shaheed SP Akbar Shinwari
PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - September 22, 2026) Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed on Monday visited Takht Bhai, Mardan, and went to the residence of Shaheed SP Akbar Shinwari, where he offered Fateha and condoled with the bereaved family.
The SP was martyred in a blast in Kohat last Friday.
Zulfiqar Hameed met with the children and other family members of the martyred officer and expressed his heartfelt condolences. Speaking on the occasion, he said that martyrs are the pride of the nation and their families are our family. "We will never leave them alone," he said, adding that not a drop of the martyrs' blood would go in vain. He vowed that the enemies of peace would be eliminated. Senior police officers were also present on the occasion.
