IGP Rizvi Pays Tribute To Pakistan Navy Heroes On Navy Day
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 8th Sep, 2026) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi paid tribute to the officers, personnel, martyrs and war veterans of the Pakistan Navy on Navy Day, praising their courage and sacrifices in defending the country’s maritime frontiers.
An ICT Police Public Relations Officer told APP on Tuesday that the IGP Rizvi saluted the martyrs and war veterans of the Pakistan Navy who rendered unforgettable sacrifices in defence of the country’s maritime borders. Rizvi stated that:
"Pakistan Navy personnel are the proud sons of the nation whose courage, professionalism and determination deserve the highest appreciation."
He emphasized that Navy Day reminds the nation of the bravery and sacrifices of Pakistan Navy personnel in safeguarding the homeland. The guardians of our seas have rendered commendable services for the defence and security of Pakistan, the IGP Rizvi said.
Rizvi expressed that the nation will always remember the sacrifices of those who defended Pakistan’s maritime frontiers. He noted that the Navy’s martyrs had set an enduring example of courage and patriotism by laying down their lives in defence of the country.
On Navy Day, the IGP saluted all officers and personnel of the Pakistan Navy and affirmed that their services for Pakistan’s security will remain unforgettable.
