IGP Rizvi Reviews Law and Order, Counter-terrorism, Investigation, and Police Training
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – September 10, 2026) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi held an important meeting with senior police officers to review law and order, counter-terrorism measures, investigation, legal affairs, professional training, and service delivery to citizens.
An official told APP on Thursday that the meeting was attended by DIG Law and Order and Training Muhammad Ateeq Tahir, SSP CTD Saud Khan, and AIG Legal Tahir Kazim.
The participants discussed ways to maintain effective law and order across Islamabad, strengthen action against criminal elements, further improve counter-terrorism measures, investigation, legal affairs, and enhance the professional training of police officers.
