IGP Takes Notice Of Bodies Of Two Women, Girl Recovered From Dinga Pond
IGP Abdul Kareem took notice of the recovery of bodies of two women and a girl from a pond in Mohalla Chargah area of Dinga, Gujrat, on Thursday (27th Aug, 2026), and sought a report from the Regional Police Officer (RPO) Gujranwala.
The IGP directed the District Police Officers (DPO) of Gujrat to investigate the incident comprehensively, examining all aspects of the case. A case was registered on Wednesday regarding the alleged abduction of Urooj (21 years old), Sadia (15 years old), and Fatima (two years old).
Senior police officers and forensic teams arrived at the scene to collect evidence, and the bodies were sent for a post-mortem examination. The IGP instructed concerned officers to ensure a transparent investigation to uncover the truth and bring the culprits to justice.
