IGP Takes Notice Of Couple’s Murder In Vehari

Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Abdul Kareem on Wednesday took notice of the killing of a couple in firing allegedly over an old enmity in Chak 203-EB, within the limits of Gagoo police station, Vehari.

The IGP sought a report from the Regional Police Officer (RPO) Multan and directed the District Police Officer (DPO) Vehari to ensure immediate arrest of the suspects involved in the firing. Abdul Kareem instructed the police to utilize all available resources to apprehend the accused and bring them to justice.

According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, the deceased were identified as Ali Muhammad and his wife, Surayya Bibi.
