IHC Chief Justice Compares PTI Protest to Constitutional Crisis

The Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) Chief Justice, Justice Sarfraz Dogar, during a hearing of a petition related to the scheduled PTI protest on September 27, likened it to a constitutional crisis.
He issued notices to the Attorney General and summoned several high-ranking officials in person:
- Islamabad’s Chief Commissioner
- Deputy Commissioner
- Inspector General of Police
- Advocate Generals from all four provinces.
Citing the sensitive nature of the matter, the chief justice requested their personal presence.
