IHC Reserves Verdict On Plea Seeking Inquiry Against Phulgraan SHO Over Alleged Farmhouse Occupation
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th Aug, 2026) The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday reserved its verdict on a petition seeking an inquiry against the Station House Officer (SHO) of Phulgraan Police Station over an alleged occupation of a citizen’s farmhouse.
Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro heard the petition and questioned officials over the implementation of court orders. He noted that:
"If a party is aggrieved by a court order, it should challenge the order before the appropriate forum rather than refuse to comply with it."
The judge also added that once an order had been passed, it needed to be respected and implemented.
Advocate General Islamabad Naveed Hayat Malik assured the court that every judicial order would be implemented. He requested more time for the authorities to properly assist the court.
During the proceedings, Justice Soomro addressed the Assistant Commissioner, reminding him to respect everyone who visited his office, even lawyers without official uniforms. He shared his positive experiences with respect in Sindh during his time as a lawyer representing deputy commissioners.
The court asked for an affidavit from the SHO Phulgraan regarding the alleged farmhouse occupation and also reserved its verdict on the request to de-seal the property and remove the occupation.
