IMF Delegation to Arrive in Pakistan on Sept 23 for Economic Review

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission will visit Pakistan this month for negotiations on the economic review required for the next tranche. According to sources, the IMF team will arrive in Pakistan on September 23 and stay for two weeks.

They will hold discussions with officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). The talks will also cover the circular debt of the power sector.

Negotiations will focus on all economic targets achieved up to June 2026.
