Interior Minister Greets Nation and Muslim Ummah on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH)
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th Aug, 2026) Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) extended greetings to the people of Pakistan and Muslims worldwide, urging them to follow the teachings and example of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in both personal and collective life.
In his message, the minister stated that the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) continues to offer guidance for tackling today’s societal challenges. Mohsin Naqvi noted that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the final Messenger of Allah, was sent as a mercy for all humanity. He observed that the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) brought a message of light, justice, and compassion, providing mankind with a path based on truth and human dignity.
The interior minister emphasized that before his prophethood, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was renowned for his honesty, trustworthiness, and integrity. Through his character and conduct, he set benchmarks of truthfulness and responsibility that continue to inspire generations.
Naqvi explained that the mission of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) transformed society by replacing ignorance with knowledge and guiding humanity towards justice, wisdom, and moral values. He added that the Prophet (PBUH) taught people principles of love, brotherhood, tolerance, and respect for others.
Highlighting Islamic social teachings, the minister noted that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) emphasized protecting the rights of the weak, poor, orphans, and those in need. He said these teachings remain relevant and serve as a foundation for building a balanced and caring society.
Mohsin Naqvi stated that the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) remains a guiding source for the religious, social, and moral development of Muslims. He urged individuals and communities to draw lessons from the Prophet’s life and apply them in their daily affairs.
The minister suggested that many contemporary world issues, including conflict, division, and instability, could be addressed by adhering to the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He called upon people to promote unity, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence in line with Islamic principles.
Naqvi concluded by urging the nation to renew their commitment on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) by embracing the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in character, conduct, and collective behavior, thereby strengthening society and promoting values that benefit humanity as a whole.
