Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Inaugurates Islamabad Police Command Center

Protecting citizens, enhancing police performance, and upholding law and order in Islamabad are paramount priorities, according to Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. He inaugurated the modern Islamabad Police Command, Control, Communication, and Coordination (C4) Center, emphasizing its role in revolutionizing police operations in the capital city.
The new center connects all major operational systems of the police force, including Safe City initiatives, to a centralized command and control platform. This integration allows the Islamabad Inspector General (IG) to monitor and manage police operations, including Safe City, directly from their office.
"This modern center significantly improves our command, monitoring, coordination, and rapid decision-making capabilities," said Naqvi during his inspection of various sections within the facility. He was briefed on the system’s integration with Safe City, police operations, field force monitoring, emergency response, and cutting-edge AI technology.
The primary objective of this center is to empower the Islamabad IG with a single location from which to command and monitor the entire police force effectively. The advanced system enhances communication and coordination among diverse police units.
"Timely information, swift decision-making, and rapid police response will be achievable during any incident or emergency," Naqvi stated. "Modern technology strengthens our command, monitoring, and accountability systems, and this center enables us to track police performance in the field."
Emphasizing the importance of citizen protection and improved police performance, the interior minister declared these as top priorities for Islamabad Police. The event was attended by the Islamabad IG, DG IG Islamabad, and other senior officers.
