According to media reports, US President Donald Trump stated in a conversation with journalists:
"Iran was probably involved in the attack. The Saudi Crown Prince is a good friend, and everything will be fine."
He further added that:
"The war with Iran will end after the midterm elections. The Houthis do not want to fight against the United States."
President Trump claimed that oil prices would fall rapidly once the war with Iran concluded.
