IRSA Releases 318,900 Cusecs Water

Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Tuesday released 318,900 cusecs of water from various rim stations with an inflow of 331,200 cusecs.
According to IRSA’s data:
- The water level in the River Indus at Tarbela Dam stood at 1550.00 feet, 148.00 feet higher than the dead level of 1402.00 feet. Water inflow and outflow were recorded as 220,000 cusecs each.
- The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1220.00 feet, 170.00 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet. Inflow and outflow were 20,300 cusecs and 8,000 cusecs, respectively.
- Water releases from Kalabagh, Taunsa, Guddu, and Sukkur were 240,800, 154,400, 157,800, and 116,000 cusecs, respectively.
- From River Kabul, 24,500 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera, and 42,800 cusecs were released from River Chenab at Marala.
