IRSA Releases 344,700 Cusecs Water

Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Wednesday released 344,700 cusecs of water from various rim stations with an inflow of 368,100 cusecs.

According to IRSA’s data:

  • The water level in the River Indus at Tarbela Dam stood at 1550.00 feet, 148.00 feet higher than the dead level of 1402.00 feet. Water inflow and outflow were recorded as 234,400 cusecs and 233,800 cusecs, respectively.

  • The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1213.15 feet, 163.15 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet. Inflow and outflow were 29,800 cusecs and 7,000 cusecs, respectively.

  • Release of water from Kalabagh, Taunsa, Guddu, and Sukkur was recorded as 338,400, 315,900, 268,900, and 168,900 cusecs, respectively.

  • From River Kabul, 30,900 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera, and 47,800 cusecs were released from River Chenab at Marala.
