Islamabad Search Operations: 17 Suspects Shifted For Verification, 594 People Checked
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11th Sep, 2026) Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police continued large-scale search operations across different areas of the Federal capital, checking 594 people, 316 houses and three shops as part of security measures.
An official told APP on Friday that police teams also checked 139 motorcycles and 58 vehicles during the operations. He said 17 suspicious persons and 14 motorcycles were shifted to the relevant police stations for further verification. Senior police officers briefed the participating personnel before the operations and issued necessary instructions regarding their assigned duties and search procedures. Female police personnel also participated in the search operations, the official said.
