Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi said that instead of focusing on serious issues in politics and other fields, everyone nowadays is trying to go viral on social media.

He said he told several of his friends that it would be better to pray that nothing like that went viral.
The federal minister stated that politics in the current scenario was about seriousness, responsibility and performance. Politicians should use their accomplishments to demonstrate to the public their capabilities and past contributions.
"The public has the right to know about a politician’s political achievements and history. If a person has been elected as an assembly member three times or has had the opportunity to become a minister twice, questions should also be asked about their performance and other responsibilities." - Hanif Abbasi
Abbasi emphasized that politics should be grounded in practical performance rather than a race to go viral on social media.
