Jordan’s King Awards Abdullah Bin Bayyah Supreme Order of Renaissance for Serving Islam, Promoting Tolerance

King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has conferred Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah, Chairman of the UAE Council for Fatwa and President of the Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace, with the Supreme Order of the Renaissance (First Degree), one of Jordan’s highest honors. The recognition is in appreciation of his scholarly work, intellectual achievements, and international efforts to:
- Serve Islam
- Promote tolerance and peace
- Strengthen dialogue and coexistence among diverse cultures
Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II presented the decoration to Sheikh Abdullah during a meeting at the 19th General Conference of the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought in Amman, themed "The Ummah’s Priorities for the Next 25 Years (2026-2050)."
This honor highlights:
