ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Aug, 2026) In the absence of Chief Justice Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan (FCCP), Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan, Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi assumed the role of Acting Chief Justice today.

A formal oath-taking ceremony was held at the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan, with Justice Aamer Farooq administering the oath. Judges of the FCCP, the Registrar, court officers, representatives from the Ministry of Law, the Supreme Court Bar Association, and the Pakistan Bar Council attended.

Following the ceremony, Justice Rizvi took over the responsibilities of Acting Chief Justice, ensuring continuity in the court's operations.
