Key Meeting on CM Punjab Youth Games Preparations Held
A significant meeting regarding the preparations for the CM Punjab Youth Games took place under the leadership of Director General Sports Punjab, Muhammad Tariq Qureshi. The event aimed to organize a world-class sports competition for young athletes in Punjab.

- Home and Literacy
- Punjab Information Technology Board
- Educational Boards
- Divisional and district sports officers across Punjab
- Director Administration Abid Shaukat and Deputy Director Zahoor Ahmad
Departments provided updates on registration and preparations, while the Punjab Information Technology Board outlined the registration process.
DG Sports Punjab’s Address
Muhammad Tariq Qureshi emphasized the significance of the CM Punjab Youth Games, stating:
"The event aims to offer ample sporting opportunities to young people and uncover new talent from the grassroots level."
Registration for the games will remain open until 25th September.
Competition Structure
Qureshi revealed that competitions will be held at multiple levels:
- Madrassa, special persons, union council, tehsil, district, divisional, and Punjab levels
- University-level competitions in 19 games
He predicted that approximately 5 million athletes will participate, with thousands of new players emerging from the grassroots.

The mega event is a result of collaboration among various Punjab government departments and institutions.
