The central spokesperson of the International Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Movement has announced a series of events across the country during September, with September 1 to 10 observed as the Ashra of Khatm-e-Nabuwwat. The spokesperson revealed that a central gathering will be held at the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Centre in Chenab Nagar on September 7, marked as the Day of Khatm-e-Nabuwwat, and requested media organizations to organize special programmes on this occasion.

In a statement issued to the media on Sunday, the spokesperson highlighted the significance of September 7, 1974, when Pakistan's Parliament passed a constitutional amendment declaring Ahmadis as a non-Muslim minority. They described it as a pivotal moment in Pakistan’s historical and constitutional journey regarding the belief in the finality of Prophethood.

The event will also serve as a tribute to religious scholars, leaders, workers, and others associated with the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Movement for their contributions over various periods.

The spokesperson appealed to newspapers, magazines, television channels, and digital media platforms to publish special editions and features, broadcast documentaries, discussions, interviews, and other programmes to emphasize the historical and constitutional importance of September 7, 1974.

They expressed the hope that the planned conferences, seminars, awareness campaigns, and training workshops across the nation would enhance academic and public understanding of Khatm-e-Nabuwwat, its historical background, religious perspectives, and constitutional developments. The activities aim to educate the younger generation about Pakistan’s religious and constitutional history.
