Kohat Police Nab Proclaimed Offender Wanted in Murder, Attempted Murder Cases

Kohat Police on Monday arrested a proclaimed offender wanted in multiple cases of murder and attempted murder during a targeted operation against absconders and hardened criminals in the district.
The operation was conducted on the special directives of District Police Officer (DPO) SSP Rai Mazhar Iqbal, who has directed police officials to intensify the crackdown against proclaimed offenders and other criminals. According to police sources, the operation was led by ASI Ilyas, In-charge of Shadi Pur Police Post.
Police stated that the accused, identified as Sadiq son of Khan Akbar, was successfully apprehended during the operation. He was wanted by police in several cases involving murder and attempted murder, they added.
The arrested suspect has been shifted to Gambat Police Station for further legal proceedings, while investigation into the cases is underway.
Police officials affirmed that the crackdown against proclaimed offenders involved in serious crimes would continue across the district to ensure the safety and security of citizens.
