KP Bar Council Concerned Over Lawyer's Disappearance
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council has expressed grave concern over the disappearance of renowned lawyer Amir Ijaz Khan Advocate and has demanded a transparent investigation to unveil the truth.
In a press release, the Bar Council urged the Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and District Police Officer Mardan to immediately address this issue and conduct a thorough inquiry. They emphasized the protection of lawyers' rights and dignity as their core responsibility, promising not to tolerate any injustices.
As a protest, lawyers will observe a strike in district Mardan on Saturday, with no legal representation in courts. The Bar Council expressed hope that authorities would swiftly resolve the matter amicably.
