KP Govt Assures Industrialists Of Full Support, Reviews Issues At Hayatabad Industrial Estate
PESHAWAR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 8th Sep, 2026) Special Adviser to the Chief Minister for Industries and Commerce Humayun Khan has assured the industrial community of continued government support and pledged to address issues hindering industrial activity in the province.
He expressed these views during a visit to Hayatabad Industrial Estate on Tuesday, where he met representatives of the industrial community and reviewed matters concerning the estate.
Humayun Khan visited several industrial units, including Zakori Industries, Furniture Pakistan, and Utility Stores, and reviewed their operations and activities. He also visited the Peshawar Economic Zone Office, where Zone Manager Tahir Subhan briefed him on the office’s operations, ongoing activities, and management of the economic zone.
As part of a plantation campaign, the special adviser planted a tree at the Peshawar Economic Zone and said tree plantation was essential for creating a clean, green, and sustainable industrial environment.
Speaking to industrialists, Humayun Khan said the industrial sector played a vital role in the province’s economic development. He stated that the provincial government was taking coordinated measures to promote industry and modernise the industrial sector.
The adviser also personally reviewed the issue surrounding the closure of A-1 Road in Hayatabad and assured industrialists that the government would make every possible effort to resolve the matter at the earliest. He reiterated the government’s commitment to creating a conducive environment for industrial investment, business activity, and economic growth in the province.
