KP Law Minister Inaugurates Gandiali Road Projects, Announces Plan to Develop Dam as Tourist Destination

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Aftab Alam Advocate, on Monday inaugurated the Gandiali village road and laid the foundation stone for the Gandiali Dam road, announcing plans to transform the dam into an attractive recreational and tourist destination.

The ceremony was attended by former Gumbat Tehsil Chairman Sajid Iqbal, former Gandiali Chairman Akhtar Jameel, and local workers.

Alam stated that the road projects would enhance connectivity for residents and facilitate access to Gandiali Dam for visitors and tourists. He credited the completion of the schemes to funds allocated by him and Member of the National Assembly Shehryar Afridi, under the supervision of Sajid Iqbal.

He emphasized that development initiatives aimed to meet public needs and ensure basic facilities for all citizens without discrimination. The government, he added, was committed to promoting tourism and creating employment opportunities for local communities.

Alam revealed the approval of a plan to establish a recreational park along the Gandiali Dam, aiming to convert the area into an organized tourist attraction while providing recreational facilities for locals and visitors alike.

Local residents expressed gratitude for the completion and launch of the road projects, describing them as a significant step towards improved transportation, enhanced tourism, and accelerated development in the region.
