Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education, Arshad Ayub Khan, has issued instructions to ensure top-quality education and regular staff attendance in model schools across the merged districts. This was during a joint meeting of the board of governors (BoG) of these institutions on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

Meeting Highlights:

  • The BoG reviewed academic results, administrative affairs, financial health, staff strength, and infrastructure needs of the model schools.
  • Emphasis was laid on providing basic facilities to students and staff.
  • Strategies were discussed to strengthen institutional capacity, ensure efficient fund utilization, and maintain transparency and merit in school operations.

BoG Decisions:

The board approved several measures to enhance the performance of these institutions and resolved to turn them into centers of excellence.
