KP Orders Students Moved From Unsafe School Sections to Safer Classrooms
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Elementary and Secondary Education Department has issued directives to relocate students from hazardous school buildings and sections to safer alternatives.
In a communication to District Education Officers (DEOs), the department instructed the immediate shifting of students from unsafe buildings, emphasizing that only dangerous portions would be sealed, not the entire structures.
Students should be accommodated in:
- Safe sections of the same school
- Nearby government schools
- Rented buildings, if government school facilities are not available
The decision follows the identification of unsafe school buildings and sections by the Communication and Works Department and technical experts.
The department stressed the need for immediate action to ensure student safety and maintain uninterrupted education.
