KP Police Provides Financial, Mobility Support to Personnel and Families
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police authorities have enhanced welfare measures for injured and disabled personnel and their families, offering financial assistance and mobility support where needed.
Bannu:
Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Bannu Region Abdul Ghafoor Afridi visited an injured police official, inquired about his health, and reviewed his treatment. He provided the injured official with financial aid and assured ongoing support from the department during recovery. Abdul Ghafoor Afridi emphasized that police personnel welfare is a top priority and pledged to offer every assistance for their treatment and rehabilitation.
Kohat:
District Police Officer (DPO) Rai Mazhar Iqbal distributed wheelchairs to disabled police personnel and their family members under the police welfare program. He met with beneficiaries, inquired about their well-being, and listened to their concerns. Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rana Tahir also attended the event.
The DPO highlighted that police officers work round-the-clock to protect citizens, making it the department’s responsibility to cater to the needs of these personnel and their families. He promised to continue introducing welfare initiatives and providing facilities for deserving and disabled personnel and their loved ones.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the Kohat police chief for the wheelchairs and special attention to their needs, describing the initiative as a positive step toward strengthening police welfare.
