KP Project Employees Urge Govt For Urgent Revision Of PIP-2022 Amid Financial Strain
Project employees across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have appealed to the provincial government to expedite the revision of the Project Implementation Policy (PIP-2022), citing severe financial hardships due to inflation and rising living costs. This according to the local correspondent of APP reported from Kohat on Monday.
The employees urged the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary to issue immediate directives to relevant departments for completing the revision process without delay. They stated that thousands of project staff working on key provincial development initiatives are facing difficulties as their current salaries do not match increasing expenses.
Emphasizing their contribution to vital development projects, they requested urgent recognition and relief. The employees added that timely financial adjustments would ease their struggles, sustain motivation, and enhance performance on critical projects. Community representatives noted that the livelihoods of thousands of families depend on this decision. Swift action, they believed, would restore confidence among project employees and strengthen ongoing provincial development efforts.
