Ladies and Gentlemen, Matters Have Gone Too Far
Analyst Hafizullah Niazi believes the current political system was meant to last until 2031, but those in power seem to be rushing things. In a recent tweet, he advised those considering changing sides to leave immediately, comparing the situation to a vessel filling with water and about to sink.
“Ladies and gentlemen, matters have gone too far,” Niazi wrote. > “All my political assessments about this system have proved wrong… I thought the current system’s tenure was supposed to end after eight years, in 2031. But the engineers sitting in the driving seat perhaps seem to be in a hurry.”
The current system began in mid-2023, following a significant change in Pakistan’s political landscape. Historically, "Made in Pakistan" systems typically have a lifespan of eight to ten years. Niazi attributes the accelerated end to the haste and confidence of those currently steering the ship, causing it to reach its conclusion ahead of schedule.
As guidance for politicians, he suggests that now is the optimal time to depart from the current system, particularly for those affiliated with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI).
“Only the leadership of the PPP and JUI will be able to understand the depth of what I am saying,” he noted.
