Lahore Traffic Police Transfer All 86 Sector In-charges
LAHORE, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th Aug, 2026) Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi has transferred all 86 sector in-charges of Lahore Traffic Police on administrative grounds and directed them to immediately report at their new places of posting.
According to a Lahore Traffic Police spokesperson on Thursday, several transfers were made:
- Traffic Inspector Muhammad Farooq was transferred from Mall-I and posted as Sector In-charge New Airport.
- Traffic Inspector Muhammad Karamat was transferred from New Airport and posted as Sector In-charge Mall-I.
- Traffic Inspector Muhammad Jibran was transferred from Shalimar and posted as Sector In-charge Railway Station.
- Traffic Inspector Maqsood Ahmed was appointed Sector In-charge Shadman.
- Traffic Inspector Rashid Mahmood was transferred from Mughalpura and posted as Sector In-charge Anarkali.
- Rafiq Shehzad was transferred from Walton Road to Shadman, while Umar Bilal was transferred from Defence-A to Shadman Sector.
- Abu Bakr was transferred from Township and posted at Bund Road Sector, while Shehbaz Parvez was transferred from Green Town and posted at Bund Road Sector.
- Abdul Jalil was transferred from Johar Town and posted at Bhobtian Sector, while Zahid Ali was transferred from Niaz Beg and posted at Bhobtian Sector.
- Muhammad Fahad was transferred from Defence-B and posted at Defence-A Sector, while Hassan was transferred from Shadman and posted at Defence-A Sector.
- Kamran was transferred from Walton Road and posted at Defence-B Sector, while Khalid Zahoor was transferred from Defence-A and posted at Defence-B Sector.
The CTO directed all transferred officers to immediately report at their new places of posting. He also instructed the sector in-charges to facilitate citizens and take effective measures to ensure smooth traffic flow. He emphasized that all officers should work with a service-oriented approach and strive to provide maximum convenience to the public.
