Larkana Police Operations Continue Against Criminals; 6 PO’s Arrested
Larkana Police are continuing operations against criminals, with a particular focus on absconding/proclaimed offenders, and a crackdown on motorcycles without proper documentation. This initiative is led by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Larkana, Azhar Khan.
On Tuesday, SSP Khan held meetings with businessmen, civil society representatives, petitioners, and applicants to address their concerns. He instructed officers to promptly resolve these issues.
As part of the ongoing operations:
- Motorcycles without documents and number plates are being impounded. Legal action is being taken against owners who fail to comply with registration requirements.
- Police are targeting motorcycles using fancy number plates, prohibited blue lights, and black tinted glass.
- Six proclaimed offenders were arrested in various locations across Larkana:
- Bilaal Gopang and Sonan Gopang (Rahmatpur)
- Shahmir alias Dado Chachar (Mahota)
- Abdul Ghaffar Jatoi (Hatri Ghulam Shah)
- Ali Raza Khokhar (Walid)
- Dost Muhammad Janwari (Rashid Wagan)
- Two stolen rickshaws were also recovered: one loader rickshaw and a Chingchi rickshaw. Both were returned to their rightful owners after verification.
SSP Azhar Khan emphasized that swift justice, issue resolution, and maintaining peace and order are top police priorities. He urged officers to give prompt attention to citizen complaints and ensure lawful resolution.
Police investigations into the arrested suspects are ongoing.
