Law Minister Pays Tribute to Armed Forces, Martyrs, and Ghazis on Defence and Martyrs’ Day

Federal Minister for Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, on the occasion of Defence and Martyrs’ Day, paid tribute to Pakistan’s Armed Forces, martyrs, and ghazis. He stated that September 6 is a memorable day in the nation's history, marking the day when Pakistanis united with their military and reaffirmed their commitment to defend their homeland and protect national sovereignty.

In a statement, Tarar highlighted the bravery and dedication demonstrated by Pakistan's Armed Forces during the 1965 war. He emphasized the unforgettable sacrifices of the martyrs and the valor of the ghazis, which remain an integral part of the country's history. The minister expressed reverence for the families of the martyrs, recognizing their sacrifices and unwavering support.

Tarar commended the ongoing efforts and professionalism of the present military leadership and Pakistan’s Armed Forces in safeguarding the nation. He emphasized Pakistan's commitment to peace and its belief in dialogue and diplomacy for regional stability. The minister underscored the importance of national unity, democratic values, the rule of law, and strong institutions for Pakistan's development and prosperity.

Drawing inspiration from the martyrs' sacrifices, Tarar called for collective efforts to build a robust, prosperous, and stable Pakistan. He concluded by offering prayers for the martyrs' souls, the well-being of ghazis, and Pakistan's progress, peace, and stability.
