Literary and Religious Competitions Mark Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) Celebrations
Rawalpindi, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th Aug, 2026) A series of literary and religious competitions were organised at the Punjab Council of the Arts (PAC), Rawalpindi, as part of the Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) celebrations. These events provided participants with a platform to express their devotion, knowledge, and creativity.
Essay Writing Competition
The essay writing competition focused on the Seerah, teachings, and message of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). Tuba Sajid secured the first position, while Shameen Dil Awaiz took the second, and Khansa Binte Babar secured the third.
Naat Competition
Zahra Fatima emerged as the winner in the Naat competition, with Hassan Akbar and Rahina islam securing the second and third positions, respectively.
Husn-e-Qirat Competition
Muhammad Raza stood first in the Husn-e-Qirat competition, followed by Karimullah and Muhammad Nadeem.
The competitions were judged by renowned scholars and experts. Additional Director General ABAD Muhammad Arif Khan Niazi attended the ceremony as the chief guest and distributed cash prizes and certificates to the position holders.
Muhammad Shakoor, Director PAC, Rawalpindi, congratulated the winners and appreciated the judges, participants, and organisers for their contribution to the success of these events. He noted that such activities provide young people with meaningful opportunities to develop their literary and creative skills while deepening their connection with the teachings and values of Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW).
