Three songs recorded by iconic Australian rockstar Chrissy Amphlett in 1998, long thought lost, have been discovered in a garage and will be released on an EP titled Some Times this Friday.

In the world of music history, these songs represent a testament to Amphlett's enduring talent and charisma. Her powerful voice and stage presence brought her global success with hits like "I Touch Myself", "Pleasure and Pain", and "Boys in Town".

These newly discovered tracks were recorded with New Zealand's Tim Finn, former lead singer of Split Enz, and feature Amphlett's signature husky vocals. According to a documentary programme by national broadcaster ABC, Finn found the recordings while clearing out his garage in 2023.

"She was so focused... I was in the presence of great talent, great charisma." - Tim Finn

In a social media post, Finn described the session as "incredibly important" to him and those close to Amphlett.
