Man Arrested For Making Fake Snatching Call On Emergency Helpline 15
UrduPoint (September 10, 2026) – Rawalpinto Police have arrested a man for allegedly making a fake snatching call to the emergency helpline 15.
According to a police spokesperson, the suspect called Rescue Police Helpline 15 and claimed that two individuals had stolen his bag containing two mobile phones and cash. After reaching the scene and conducting an inquiry, police discovered that the incident was actually a financial dispute between the parties involved.
A case has been registered against the suspect for making a bogus call on the emergency helpline.
SP Rawal Baidar Bakht Gondal stated that the emergency helpline 15 is a service for citizens in emergency situations and its misuse will result in legal consequences.
