Man Posing as DSP Arrested With Driver in Takht Bhai
Police arrested a man allegedly impersonating a deputy superintendent of police (DSP) along with his driver during a raid in Takht Bhai tehsil of Mardan, according to a press release issued on September 29, 2026.
The arrests took place at Takkar Chowk, where Muhammad Fazil and his driver Ejaz Ali were detained. Police stated that Fazil was pretending to be a DSP and using this false identity to deceive people. Both suspects were wearing fake police uniforms at the time of their capture. An XLI car used by them was also seized.
The two men are said to have been wanted by police in several fraud and cheating cases registered at various police stations. Takht Bhai police filed a case against Fazil and Ejaz, initiating further investigations.
