Manshaullah Butt Attends Eid Milad-un-Nabi Mehfil at Sialkot Jail

SIALKOT (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News) – Provincial Minister for Labour and Human Resources Punjab, Muhammad Manshaullah Butt, attended a Mehfil-e-Husan-e-Naat at District Jail Sialkot to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) on Wednesday.

Also present were Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Chaudhry Faisal Ikram, Khawaja Sultan Tipu, Hafiz Imran, Umar Ayub, along with jail administration officers, employees, detainees, and minor inmates.

A Naat competition was organized among young undertrial inmates, who presented devotional poetry in praise of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), expressing their love, reverence, and devotion for the Prophet (PBUH).

Butt distributed prizes to outstanding performers and encouraged them. He stated that the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a guiding light for humanity, teaching love, brotherhood, tolerance, forgiveness, and service.

"We should mold our lives according to His teachings," said Butt, urging inmates to recite Durood-e-Pak frequently, seek forgiveness from Allah Almighty, and repent sincerely.

He emphasized that Allah Almighty eases hardships and guides people towards goodness through the blessings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Butt called for humility, refraining from arrogance, jealousy, hatred, and criminal activities.

The provincial minister highlighted the Punjab government’s efforts to provide inmates with basic facilities and educational opportunities for reformation. He stressed the importance of educating and guiding young inmates, acknowledging their potential to bring positive change in society.

Prayer was offered for national security, prosperity, peace, and stability. Butt praised the young detainees who participated in the Naat competition and distributed prizes.
