  • Integration of a camera for teleconferencing and a mobile-linked smart ultrasound device.
  • Recruitment of 40,000 doctors and allied health professionals across Punjab, with over 2,500 doctors and 2,482 women medical officers already recruited.

  • Immediate replacement of four hospital superintendents due to poor performance and negligence.
  • Formation of a pool of doctors and medical superintendents to handle emergency situations.
  • Improvement of cleanliness and parking facilities at district and tehsil headquarters hospitals.

For the first time in Punjab, Clinic Quality Control Officers will assess patient care quality. A Directorate of Monitoring and Surveillance in Primary Healthcare ensures 24-hour digital monitoring of all hospitals.

The meeting noted that Community Health Monitoring Health Inspectors had registered and collected data from over 119.8 million people across Punjab. Home delivery of medicines was provided to patients with various health conditions, including Type-1 diabetes, hepatitis, and tuberculosis.
