Mayor Pays Tributes to Soldiers, Martyrs on Defence Day
Mayor of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) Kashif Ali Shoro has said that September 6 reminds us of the bravery, courage, and sacrifices made by the armed forces for Pakistan’s defence. In a statement issued on Sunday, he paid tribute to the martyrs and veterans of Pakistan’s armed forces.
"Those who sacrificed their lives for Pakistan’s defence are our heroes," he stated. He added that September 6 would always be remembered as a day when Pakistanis fought with unmatched bravery against enemies, many of whom became martyrs. "These sacrifices teach us to remain united," he underlined.
The mayor expressed that the nation will forever stand side by side with soldiers for the sake of the country’s defence.
