MD Suthra Punjab Reviews Sanitation Operations
MD Suthra Punjab Agency Rawalpindi, Rana Sajid Safdar, visited Committee Chowk Family Park to inspect ongoing sanitation operations and review the attendance of sanitation workers. During the visit, the Suthra Punjab communication team conducted a cleanliness and anti-smog awareness campaign at National Market, distributing pamphlets and sensitizing shopkeepers about responsible waste disposal.
Rana Sajid Safdar emphasized strict field monitoring and attendance compliance, stating a zero-tolerance policy for negligence, in line with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s directives. He urged honesty, responsibility, and diligent work to provide citizens with a clean environment.
Tackling environmental pollution and smog is a key priority, with a focus on responsible waste disposal, water sprinkling before sweeping, and timely vehicle maintenance. The communication team informed citizens about complaint avenues, including the 1139 helpline, Suthra Punjab Citizen App, and social media pages.
Manager Operations District Rawalpindi, Amir Younis Naik, and other operations staff presented ongoing sanitation operations and field activities.
