Mehfil-e-Naat Held at Central Eidgah to Mark Eid Milad-un-Nabi
BAHAWALPUR, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th Aug, 2026) A grand Mehfil-e-Naat was held at the Central Eidgah Bahawalpur on the auspicious occasion of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal as part of the Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations. Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Irfan Ali Kathia and Regional Police Officer Bahawalpur Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin attended the gathering as chief guests.

In his address, Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia emphasized the importance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi as a time for profound devotion and love among Muslims. He highlighted the teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad PBUH, emphasizing peace, love, tolerance, brotherhood, and humanity. The commissioner encouraged following the Prophet’s (PBUH) example and fostering love, fraternity, tolerance, and mutual respect in society.
He also expressed gratitude for the role of the District Peace Committee and religious scholars in maintaining peace and promoting religious harmony.
RPO Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin assured comprehensive security arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations, with police deployed to secure processions, Naat gatherings, and other events. All available resources were utilized to safeguard citizens’ lives and property.

The event was filled with Durood-o-Salam and religious slogans as attendees expressed their love and devotion on the Prophet’s (PBUH) blessed birth anniversary.
